From April 4 to April 10, Russia will host the online marathon "Finzozh Fest" for schoolchildren of all ages.

The objectives of Finzozh Fest are to motivate schoolchildren to study the principles of financial healthy lifestyle, to help them form basic skills in managing personal and family budgets, to show that a high level of financial culture is always in demand, and especially during economic turbulence.

The online content of the festival is also aimed at teachers and parents who are engaged in financial education and upbringing.

A balanced budget for every citizen and family is the basis of the economic stability of our country, as noted by Deputy Finance Minister Mikhail Kotyukov. "Today, the participants of our festival are still in school, and tomorrow they will become consumers of financial services, taxpayers, depositors, borrowers, responsible citizens involved in the management of local budgets. That is why it is important to start financial training as early as possible," he stressed.

"Today it is especially important to understand the connection of economic processes with the personal well-being of a citizen. Knowing how the main financial instruments work, you can objectively assess your financial capabilities, set and achieve financial goals, and not succumb to false appeals and emotional speculation," commented Mikhail Mamuta, Head of the Consumer Protection and Financial Services Accessibility Service of the Bank of Russia.

The educational and educational formats developed for the festival - online quizzes, tests, podcasts, contests – cover the audience from elementary school to graduation classes. In addition, a series of thematic meetings with popular bloggers, financial market professionals, and family budget management experts will be held on social networks and on the My Finance portal. Each day of the festival will be dedicated to a separate topical topic. All content developed within the framework of the festival is available to educational institutions for use during and after the Financial Literacy Weeks.

The grand opening of the festival will take place on April 4, on the same day, an Education Day for schoolchildren will be held on the My Finances page in VKontakte. Career Day will be held on April 5. During the day, on the My Finances page in VKontakte, experts and bloggers will share tips on who and where young people can work.

On April 6, schoolchildren will have an online quiz "Expert Finzozh" about the rules of personal budget management, the structure of the country's financial institutions and the history of the Russian financial system.

A Day of initiative School budgeting is scheduled for April 7, during which children will learn about the possibilities of participating in the budget management of their educational organizations. Throughout the festival, the website of the popular children's animated series "Smeshariki" will test the level of financial savvy of the youngest schoolchildren.
The main activities of the festival will be held on the "My Finances" page on the VKontakte social network from April 4 to 10.
