The work was carried out in two blocks:
financial culture of the population of the Ulyanovsk region, integration of participatory budgeting and financial education;
Development of participatory budgeting in the Ulyanovsk region, including the Project for Support of Local Initiatives in the Ulyanovsk Region.
The participants and organizers of the seminar-meeting stated that financial literacy is currently becoming a necessary competency in life, especially in modern realities, when it is important to make sound financial decisions: the future well-being of the population depends on these decisions.
In the Ulyanovsk region, work has been done to form an ecosystem of financial literacy in the region, including significant work on the integration of participatory budgeting and financial education based on the Center for the Development of Tax Culture and Financial Literacy of the Ministry of Finance of the Ulyanovsk Region.
In the modern world, every citizen makes certain financial decisions every day. In these conditions, the development of financial culture is becoming an obligatory part of the general culture of a person.
